Colby Pollard | Bio
At the age of thirteen Colby began playing professionally when his guitar teacher recommended him for a busy cover band called Ivory Tower. After playing with them for several years, Colby joined the legendary Bay Area show band, The Heartbeats. The Heartbeats performed all over the country playing large corporate events and went on to gain the endorsement of Dick Clark.
Colby has played with a wide variety of artists, including Huey Lewis, Smash Mouth, The Everly Brothers, Steven Stills, Brian Setzer and Eddie Money.
An accomplished songwriter, Colby has co-written songs for such films as Trouble With The Curve, and the Netflix franchise, The Kissing Booth. In addition to his busy work as a songwriter, Colby also leads a popular cover band, The Neighbors, (see video).
A multi talented musician, Colby’s first love is playing the acoustic guitar. He’s been called a human juke-box, as he knows upwards of a thousand songs. As a solo artist he’s entertained audiences for years, playing clubs, resorts, and other notable events, including Alicia Silverstone’s wedding.
After a long lockdown year, Colby is thrilled to be back singing and playing live.
